Contact for privacy matters: [email protected] or +44 7848 457 591. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under UK GDPR; enquiries go to the address above and are handled by a director.
2. What personal data we collect
- Enquiry data — the name, email address, optional company name, any services you tick, and the message you type into the contact form on this website.

- Consent record — your cookie choice, stored in your own browser (see section 8).
We do not knowingly collect special category data (health, religion, biometrics and similar), and we ask that you do not send it through the contact form. This website is not intended for children under 16.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Client project records and correspondence: for the life of the engagement and 6 years afterwards, to cover the limitation period for contract claims.
- Accounting and invoice records: 6 years from the end of the accounting period, as required by UK tax law.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for up to 12 months.
- Cookie preference: stored in your browser until you clear it (see section 8).
5. Who else sees it
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only with the suppliers we need to run the business, each of which acts as a processor under a written agreement:
- Web hosting provider — stores this website and its server logs.
- Email provider — carries and stores our business email, including your enquiry once it reaches us.
- Accountant and accounting software — where your details appear on an invoice or in our books.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to HMRC, a regulator, or a court.
6. International transfers
Our hosting is located in the United Kingdom. Where an email or accounting supplier processes data outside the UK, that transfer is covered either by UK adequacy regulations or by the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any additional safeguards the supplier has in place. You can ask us for details of the safeguards applying to a particular transfer.
7. Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry data is limited to the two directors of Inauro Limited, protected by multi-factor authentication on the accounts involved. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the ICO within 72 hours and tell you directly where the risk is high.
8. Cookies
This website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It stores a single entry in your browser's local storage, inauro_cookie_consent, which records whether you accepted or declined non-essential storage so that the banner does not reappear on every visit. No analytics or third-party tracking script runs on this site at present; if we add one, it will load only after you have accepted. The full detail is in our Cookie Policy. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, or by emailing us.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used — this policy;
- request access to the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data rectified;
- request erasure where we no longer need the data;
- request restriction of processing while a dispute is resolved;
- receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format (portability);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
10. How to exercise your rights
Email [email protected] with “Data request” in the subject line, or write to Inauro Limited, 18 Dovercourt Gardens, Stanmore HA7 4SH. We respond within one month of receiving your request, as required by UK GDPR. If the request is complex we may extend that by a further two months, and we will tell you within the first month if we do. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority:
